Package: qa.debian.org Severity: wishlist When going through packages in the PTS, there's no way to tell whether something is still in sid, or whether it's been removed. The "Last Version", at the top left, does not indicate which distribution the package is in (ie, http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kernel-source-2.4.18.html is only in woody; there's no way to see that from the PTS). Instead of the "Other Available Versions", I'd recommend listing each distribution that contains the package, and the version. This list would obviously include sid in it. Ie, kernel-source-2.4.18 would remain:
Other available versions Security Updates (stable) 2.4.18-14.3 Stable 2.4.18-13 Stable Proposed Updates 2.4.18-14.3 While kernel-source-2.4.26 might be: Other available versions Unstable 2.4.26-6 Testing 2.4.26-6 Stable Proposed Updates 2.4.26-1woody.1 This would make it easy to see, at a glance, when (for example) a package has been removed from testing for RC bugs. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C
