Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hi

Its nice that pts now has a "A new upstream version was found:"
function. But that one is a little bit broken.
For example look at the epiphany package at the moment. It has Version
0.5.1-1 in the archive but pts says
A new upstream version was found:
(bin-0.5.1). http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/epiphany/epiphany-bin-0.5=
.1.tar.gz

Looks like the filter should be adjusted. Either to ignore common bin-
doc- or similar things or to just look at the version number ignoring
whatever else is in the name.
