Package: findutils Version: 4.1.7-2 Severity: wishlist findutils' has got a new upstream maintainer and seems to be semiactive. A new test version 4.1.20 has been released.
I've spent a little time working on it and have a preliminary diff on http://www.logic.univie.ac.at/~ametzler/debian/misc/ ---------------------- findutils (4.1.20-0.1) unstable; urgency=low . * New upstream 4.1.20 (only updated auto* system, no behavior change.) * Strip down debian-patch: - move contents of debian/Changelog to debian/changelog - weed out all the changes to .cvsignore. - the changes described in the diff to po/ChangeLog are included upstream - Some the changes in #123919 seem to be unneeded now (at least I do not get implicit declaration warnings. - fix for #67507 included upstream. * Install ChangeLog.gz as ./usr/share/doc/findutils/changelog.gz instead of symlinking it. (ancient policy?) * don't set /usr/doc/ symlink. * update config.(sub|guess) ---------------------- The package is lintian-clean except for old standards version 3.5.2.0. I am cc'ing the qa-list for further discussion. cu andreas -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux balrog 2.4.21-pre4 #1 Mit Feb 19 15:20:46 CET 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=de_AT, LC_CTYPE=de_AT Versions of packages findutils depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-11.5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
