Ok, i maintain the logtrend-* package which was a very good application, at least i thought so. The general design beeing very nice. However, i spent around 2 month working on it profesionnally to include it in a solution for customer ans squashed an enormous amount of bug, to drop it a few weeks ago and switch to a solution based on nagios + cricket. Here are my main concerned: - As said, the architecture have very good thing, but the implementation basically sucks at a lot of level and the application does not scale at all. - Upstream was a french company which went busted a few month ago and they never reappeared, so upstream is gone. - Other application are more widely used and should be. So, because of all of the above, i'd like to drop (not just orphan) the packages, i dont believe a lot (if there 's any) people use it. Cheers, JeF
