I'm not sure about the orphan issue.. I thought I had orphaned it a while
ago. Their library naming is fairly broken, they use libmico2.3.3.so,
instead of using sonames properly. It should be something like
libmico.2.3.0.so and then the compiler can link with libmico.so, as it is
now, when you link you have to specify the entier version, and even minor
revisions of libmico require a relink.
