Package: noatun Version: 4:2.2.1-1.4 Severity: normal It looks as though various playlist loaders have trouble when selecting a list of files with long file names. I've tried "Split" and "Tron" playlist loaders, with the same effect on both.
When selecting all files in a directory where the files all have long names, noatun just exits - it doesn't seem to coredump or print any diagnostics that I can see. Example : the "Moulin Rouge Soundtrack" directory on my system has the following files: 01 - David Bowie - Nature Boy.mp3 02 - Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil Kim and Pink - Lady Marmalade.mp3 03 - Fatboy Slim - Because We Can.mp3 04 - Nicole Kidman, Jim Broadbent, Caroline OConnor, Natalie Mendoza and Lara Mulcahy - Sparkling Diamonds.mp3 05 - Valeria - Rhythm of the Night.mp3 06 - Ewan McGregor and Alessandro Safira - Your Song.mp3 07 - Bono, Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer - Children of the Revolution.mp3 08 - Nicole Kidman - One Day Ill Fly Away.mp3 09 - Beck - Diamond Dogs.mp3 10 - Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and Jamie Allen - Elephant Love Medley.mp3 11 - Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor - Come What May.mp3 12 - Ewan McGregor, Jose Feliciano and Jacek Koman - El Tango De Roxanne.mp3 13 - Rufus Wainwright - Complainte De La Butte.mp3 14 - Nicole Kidman, John Leguziamo and Alka Yagnik - Hindi Sad Diamonds.mp3 15 - David Bowie and Massive Attack - Nature Boy.mp3 16 - Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil Kim and Pink - Lady Marmalade (Thunderpuss Radio Mix).mp3 I can open up the playlist editor and nagivate to this directory. As soon as I've selected more than six or seven files, though, the whole noatun system exits suddenly.
