severity 59031 important thanks On the principle that if it doesn't break for everyone it's not grave, I'm downgrading this bug. My only guess at an ssh2 problem that might trigger this is that ssh2 might be trying to set up X forwarding without dropping privileges (and if that turns out to be true then it might be worth upgrading this again, but it seems unlikely); failing that it's probably a bug in xauth.
