Package: korganizer Version: 4:2.2.1-1.1 Severity: normal Hello. KOrganizer seems to change the permissions of existing ICal files.
I have the following situation setup: There is a Calendar, calendar.ics stored on an nfs mount (call it /nfs). I've created a group called calendar and executed the following command: #chgrp calendar /nfs/calendar.ics #chmod 664 /nfs/calendar.ics #ls -la /nfs/calendar.ics -rw-rw-r-- 1 josh calendar 5595 Aug 27 12:37 calendar.ics Now I add myself (josh) and a friend (friend) to the calendar group. I then open korganizer, open /nfs/calendar.ics, edit the file, and then save it. Now if I do: #ls -la /nfs/calendar.ics -rw-rw-r-- 1 josh josh 5595 Aug 27 12:37 calendar.ics Why did the group change?? -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux spunky 2.4.9 #1 Sun Aug 26 14:53:52 EDT 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages korganizer depends on: ii kdelibs3 4:2.2.1-3 KDE core libraries (runtime files) ii kdepim-libs 4:2.2.1-1.1 KDE libraries amd modules for kdep ii libc6 2.2.4-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libical0 4:2.2.1-1.1 An implementation of basic iCAL pr ii libjpeg62 6b-1.3 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpisock4 0.9.5.0-6 Libraries for communicating with a ii libpng2 1.0.12-2 PNG library - runtime ii libqt2 2:2.3.1-13 Qt GUI Library (runtime version). ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-0.010902 The GNU stdc++ library ii xlibs 4.1.0-6pre7v2 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.1.3-16 compression library - runtime
