Package: linuxconf Version: 1.26r1-1 Severity: normal
Hi, I have removed the lilo package from this system (I'm using grub), but it still had the config file /etc/lilo.conf. In this situation, linuxconf complains that /sbin/lilo is missing. linuxconf could either: - probe the state (installed/removed/purged) of the Debian package - not complain when the /sbin/lilo binary is missing -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux irancy 2.4.9-686 #1 Sun Aug 19 10:46:52 EST 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages linuxconf depends on: ii libc6 2.2.4-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb3 3.2.9-11 Berkeley v3 Database Libraries [ru ii libgd1 1.8.4-7 GD Graphics Library ii libncurses5 5.2.20010318-3 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libpam0g 0.72-31 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libpng2 1.0.12-2 PNG library - runtime ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-0.010902 The GNU stdc++ library ii libxml1 1:1.8.16-1 GNOME XML library ii logrotate 3.5.9-1 Log rotation utility ii netbase 4.06 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii sysvinit 2.82-1 System-V like init. ii xlibs 4.1.0-6 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.1.3-16 compression library - runtime
