Hello, I am intending on uploading a new version of xinetd tonight as I have adopted the package.
I would like to close bug 108567 since it is grave and therefore could hold up the freeze. I believe it to have been fixed in an easrlier version of xinetd, such that the current unstable/testing version 1:2.3.0-1 should not have the issue you described (I couldn't reproduce it). Could you please check this out and close the bug if it is indeed done?
