Subject: lshell: pre/post* scripts screwed up
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bcc:
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.0

Package: lshell
Version: 2.01-8.2

[read-the-subject-line;) - yes this's after trying to install it thrice...]

Preparing to replace lshell 2.01-8 (using .../admin/lshell_2.01-8.2.deb) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/lshell.prerm: cd: /bin/lshells: No such file or directory
dpkg: warning - old pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
dpkg - trying script from the new package instead ...
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/prerm: cd: /bin/lshells: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing
debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/admin/lshell_2.01-8.2.deb (--install):
subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
/var/lib/dpkg/info/lshell.postinst: cd: /bin/lshells: No such file or directory
To enable lshell you have to add lshell to the path of the login shells in
/etc/passwd'. You should also change the path in /etc/shells' to make
sure the user does not switch back to an unprotected shell.

Note, that each user with a protected shell will have set his resource
limits according to /etc/lshell.conf.

Shall I make these adjustments for you? [y/N]

lshell is orphaned, and I closed these bugs in a QA upload recently. Due
to bug #71600 in dinstall, they were only tagged as fixed, so I'm
closing them by hand.
