In case you are still maintaining the Debian port of Malaga: I have just released a new version of Malaga, namely Malaga 5. It now includes official Hangul (Korean writing system) support, it does pretty-print Malaga variables on terminal, it has some Malaga language extensions, and mallex has been optimized to use less than half of the memory it has used before.
