Subject: dotfile-doc useless

Package: dotfile-doc
Version: 2.0-1.2
Severity: serious

This package is completely broken. First of all, an essential file
(dotdotfile.css) was not snarfed from the source site, which means the
html documents won't display at all in Netscape because they all link
to it. Second, it steals /usr/doc/dotfile from the dotfile package
(which installs a policy symlink to /usr/share/doc/dotfile under that
name).

I think the name of the package is itself a bug: it should be called
something like dotfile-module-doc.

(This report is being closed manually due to Bug#71600.)

Here is the relevant changelog entry:

  dotfile-doc (20010324-1) unstable; urgency=low

    * Updated; as the documentation doesn't seem version-specific, I've
      changed the version scheme to dates.
    * Added dotdotfile.css. Together with changes below, closes: #89194.
    * Moved to debhelper 3.
    * Conforms to Standards version 3.5.2:
      * Added build dependencies.
      * debian/rules: Install copyright to /usr/share/doc/dotfile-doc
        rather than /usr/share/doc/dotfile/copyright.doc.  Install
        changelog.
    * Changed priority to extra -- not too many people will find this
      package useful.
    * No need to suggest dotfile-module as dotfile already recommends it.
    * debian/rules: Added a `get-orig-source' target.
    * debian/copyright: Updated.
