Package: knews
Version: 1.0b.1-2.1

I was uppgrading X and got this:

Preparing to replace xlibs 4.0.1-8 (using .../xlibs_4.0.1-9_i386.deb)
...
Unpacking replacement xlibs ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/xlibs_4.0.1-9_i386.deb
(--unpack):
 trying to overwrite `/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults', which is also in
package knews
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Preparing to replace libxaw6 4.0.1-8 (using
.../libxaw6_4.0.1-9_i386.deb) ...

I think this has changed. /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults is a symlink
to /etc/X11/app-defaults. Don't quote me on this!
