.orig.tar.gz implies an original upstream source archive, which doesn't
apply to that package. If a .tar.gz isn't suitable, then nothing is,
in which case this should be discussed on Debian policy.

I think .tar.gz (not .orig.tar.gz) is appropriate for this package.
