Mesa (to my knowledge at least) supports only the 3dfx chipsets, whereas glx supports a multitude of chipsets. Although utah-glx didn't make it into potato, it is still what the vast majority of people are using. If cthugha could be changed not to depend upon mesa, it would be greatly appreciated by quite a few people who are building daily snapshot debs of utah-glx. Thank you, I shall be submitting similar bugreports to other packages which depend upon mesag3. I am using Debian potato, kernel version 2.2.13. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 55375-done) by bugs.debian.org; 15 Sep 2000 21:24:53 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 15 16:24:53 2000 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from nilpferd.fachschaften.tu-muenchen.de [::ffff:129.187.176.79] by master.debian.org with smtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 13a2yb-0007oz-00; Fri, 15 Sep 2000 16:24:53 -0500 Received: (qmail 26292 invoked from network); 15 Sep 2000 21:24:51 -0000 Received: from gaia.fachschaften.tu-muenchen.de (129.187.176.73) by nilpferd.fachschaften.tu-muenchen.de with SMTP; 15 Sep 2000 21:24:51 -0000 Date: Fri, 15 Sep 2000 23:24:53 +0200 (CEST) From: Adrian Bunk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Fixed in cthugha 1.3-5 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Format: 1.6 Date: Thu, 14 Sep 2000 00:28:12 +0200 Source: cthugha Binary: cthugha Architecture: source i386 Version: 1.3-5 Distribution: unstable Urgency: low Maintainer: Adrian Bunk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Description: cthugha - an oscilloscope on acid Closes: 55375 Changes: cthugha (1.3-5) unstable; urgency=low . * Recompiled on a recent woody.
