currently d-itg does not include any of the command line arguments passed to the compiler in its build logs: --------------------- Building common files --------------------- [ CXX ] common/thread.o <- common/thread.cpp [ CXX ] common/ITG.o <- common/ITG.cpp [ CXX ] common/timestamp.o <- common/timestamp.cpp [ CXX ] common/serial.o <- common/serial.cpp [ CXX ] common/pipes.o <- common/pipes.cpp Policy 4.9.1 says that the package build should be as verbose as reasonably possible to make life easier for porters and bug squashers more generally: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#main-building-script-debian-rules Please include the full compiler arguments in d-itg's build logs, unless the "terse" tag is present in DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS.
