Source: smuxi Severity: wishlist As of Trixie/Sid, smuxi build-depends explicitly on mono-runtime-boehm. This is a package built from mono:src, not available on all architectures, and that I plan to drop in favour of mono-runtime-sgen (that is already available, and the default garbage collector for Mono).
If it is compatible with the current smuxi source, please consider switching the build-dep to target mono-runtime-sgen, or even better: mono-runtime (without any suffix). If you *really* need to use the Boehm's garbage collector, and for some reason the SGen garbage collector is not a valid option for you, please consider joining me in the maintenance of Mono. I am opening this as a "wishlist" bug for now to let you some time to react, but I will probably bump this when I am closer to start working on the removal of mono-runtime-boehm. That might happen quite soon, so if you need an extra delay please ask for it. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'oldstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
