Package: giggle
Version: 0.4.91-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

The latest giggle package ships two shared library and header files.

The shared libraries are under /usr/lib/giggle forcing other
packages wanting to use those shared libraries to use RPATH, the
header files are also not really needed for running the binary.

On the other hand the library versioning suggest they are not yet
stable and ready for public consumption. If that's so, it would be
better to just not install any headers, .la or .so symlinks, and place
the shared libraries directly under /usr/lib/.

Otherwise, please split them into their own packages (libgiggle-0.4.91
and libgiggle-dev, and maybe libgiggle-git-0.5.91 and
libgiggle-git-dev).

regards,
guillem
