I just found out that Tuxguitar was forked and new releases have already been issued. Here's the fork: https://github.com/helge17/tuxguitar/ I'm running the fork's 1.6.1 version (.deb provided in the repo "Releases" section) and it works a treat. Please consider using this as the new Tuxguitar source. Thanks.
