This release does not contain new functionality, and is meant to keep up with new environments and technology and mostly with Qt 6.x. The release can be used with newer releases of, e.g.: 1. Debian 11 2. Ubuntu 22.04 3. Fedora 37 ... and above If you are using Redhat or one of its derivatives (CentOS, Alma Linux, Rocy Linux, etc.), your best bet is to remain with release 1.5 of Hercules Studio for now. Another important change in this release is the drop of support for QMake and the associated '.pro' file in favour of CMake.
