Here I think the allocation of nearly 4 GB at once is clearly not an intended behaviour. Therefore it may still work without GLX if we would not be stopped by this failure. The output of the gdb command from my first answer could probably still give some information which library or really abiwork itself depends on a working GLX provider. Kind regards, Bernhard
