Package: libsane-extras-dev Version: 1.0.22.4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The amd64 version conflicts with the i386 one which makes it impossible to install both. As a result one is forced to chose between developing 32 bit or 64 bit applications. It looks like the package only ships a couple extra libraries that are already in architecture-specific paths this might be as simple as adding Multi-Arch: same in the control file. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libsane-extras-dev depends on: ii libsane-extras 1.0.22.4 libsane-extras-dev recommends no packages. libsane-extras-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
