I now use reprepro (version 4.12.5-1), instead of apt-move. So, there is no need to alter apt-move on my account.
However, it would be nice to have some software to search my pool/ directory tree for any packages which are either: not signed for by the distro keys, or do not have the digests listed in the Packages or Sources files. reprepro generates a directory called "lists/", which contains "Release", "Packages" and "Sources" files very like the ones in /var/lib/apt/lists/ .
