Seems this bug (692342) depends on the version of perl. According to the proposed patch in bug 398297 [1], the implicit use of split has been removed in version 5.12. I am preparing an upload for this bug with the attached patch. [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=398297#20
