Package: defoma
Version: 0.11.1
Just some wishlist items:
Adding fonts to defoma is too complex! There are too many questions to be
answered for each font. And how do I know whether the general family is
"Mincho" or ... ?
I've hundreds of Type 1 and truetype fonts that I would like to make available
via defoma, but it's just too difficult. It would be nice to point to the
directory of type 1 or truetype font files and just say "here they are, do it",
or whatever.
If having hundreds of fonts installed takes up too many resources, it would be
nice to have a simple way of repeatedly installing and uninstalling groups of
fonts. Converting them to packages and using apt-get install or remove as root
would be too difficult.
Question:
Installing a font via defoma doesn't make it available to xfs; why isn't xfs
registered with defoma?
Thanks for listening,
Bruce L.
