No. File a wishlist bug against the package after checking what bugs are already outstanding: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?repeatmerged=no&src=apt-build $ reportbug apt-build Generally, if you are sufficiently interested in an orphaned package to want new features, you should work on those features yourself and submit a patch then adopt the package as maintainer. If you don't / can't, it's unlikely that someone else will because nobody else is doing work on the package - that's why it is orphaned. Orphaned packages either get removed or get their RC bugs fixed (by someone interested in the release, not the package) and not a lot else. If the fix is truly minor (e.g. applying a tested patch), it *might* get applied by someone fixing other stuff. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
