Awesome, because the package needs a new maintainer! :) as you can see from http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/policyd-weight.html and http://bugs.debian.org/612734 the package has been orphaned, but someone stepped up to maintain it (and you also replied on the same O bug). It seem that he got no time so you can ping him and go on with preparing a package. Thanks for your interest in debian and make it a better distro.
