Since enchant program can be used standalone for some purposes I now think differently. I have committed changes for this to enchant collab-maint git repo http://http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/enchant.git;a=commit;h=a2576434231f5dc68bfa2ec639d2e069bd4f7e78 with programs moved to a new 'enchant' package. I would like to play a bit more before sending a QA upload, but in the meantime I am tagging this bug report as pending.
