In the top of all my debhelper-using debian/rules files, I have to
add:
# Ignore arch (tla) meta directories
export DH_ALWAYS_EXCLUDE = ++pristine-trees:\\\\{arch\\\\}:.arch-ids:,,\\*
It would seem reasonable for tla-buildpackage to always set this
itself (possibly through debuild's --set-envvar option).
(I had to strace a few times to work out exactly how many backslashes
to add..)
I also note that debuild's -i option should be a (perl) regex.
tla-buildpackage uses ",,*" is probably not the regex you wanted.
