When the clipboard is already nonempty (i.e. the clipboard.wav already
exists), and a new sound sample is copied, the clipboard.wav is not
truncated to the new sample length. As a result, the clipboard
contains the new sample followed by the old copied sample tail
(of the length equal to the difference between the 2 samples).
