Upstream is (slowly) working on a maintainer release. I am adopting nedit and have a beta of the new upstream release present for review on mentors.debian.net. I will look into the open bugs and see how things go. I am picking up. A lot of the nedit bugs are related to lesstif2 which had some lack of attention. I am also looking into that package to help the maintainer. Paul
