BTW, googling for qps I discovered that the first google entry for a qps homepage, http://www.student.nada.kth.se/~f91-men/qps/, ends with version 1.9.7, the version in Debian. But there is a new home for qps, http://qps.kldp.net/ which seems quite active, carrying version 1.9.11 from november 05. and claiming: qps 1.9.9.2 * Fixed a SMP(Multi-CPU) problem on kernel 2.6.x (thanks to Alain Cabiran) So perhaps there is still hope for this fine package.
