Here goes an example of the bug: library name passed QLibrary's mangled name -------------------------------------------------- mytemplatelibrary libmytemplatelibrary..so libmytemplatelibrary liblibmytemplatelibrary..so mytemplatelibrary.so mytemplatelibrary.so libmytemplatelibrary.so libmytemplatelibrary.so As You can see there are two dots in the mangled name. This is Qte bug! A workaround is to pass full library name to the QLibrary class, there is no mangling then. A path has no impact on the mangling.
