Package: splitdigest
Version: 2.4-1

I use splitdigest everyday as "splitdigest filename" and it works, but when
I try to use splitdigest as a filter - as described in the man page (even on
the same file it split before) it emits an error message and stops.
Transcript:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:[~]:52:1:>splitdigest ss [ it worked perfectly ]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:[~]:54:1:>cat ss | splitdigest
splitdigest: Error reading stdin.

and it doesn't process the stream. That is against man page which says:

If splitdigest is invoked without arguments, it will take
its input from stdin. Otherwise it will take its input
from the file(s) listed on the command line.

This behaviour was first observed on Debian hamm, kernel 2.0.36, now the
system is slink, kernel 2.2.9, libc6 2.0.7.19981211

Config section that apply to digest in question:

Subject: deltagreen-digest V%d #%d

        End of deltagreen-digest V%d #%d

        deltagreen-%d.%d

        70
