I can run 'licq -I -p rms -p console' and login fine, but once I quit, and restart, licq won't work because my ~/.licq/licq.conf is broken. I'm pretty sure it's a licq problem because the -I option makes licq recreate the licq.conf file. Here's the broken conf file: Notice that there is no '[network]' header after the line that says 'Plugin2 = console' [licq] Version = 1003 [plugins] NumPlugins = 2 Plugin1 = rms Plugin2 = console AllowNewUsers = 1 NumOfServers = 3 DefaultServerPort = 4000 Server1 = icq.mirabilis.com Server2 = icq2.mirabilis.com Server3 = icq3.mirabilis.com TCPServerPort = 0 TCPServerPortRange = 0 TCPEnabled = 1 MaxUsersPerPacket = 100 Errors = log.errors Rejects = log.rejects Translation = none UrlViewer = viewurl-netscape.sh Terminal = xterm -T Licq -e IgnoreTypes = 0 [onevent] Enable = 1 Command = play Message = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/Message.wav Chat = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/Chat.wav File = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/File.wav Url = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/URL.wav OnlineNotify = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/Notify.wav SysMsg = /usr/share/licq/sounds/icq/System.wav [groups] NumOfGroups = 3 DefaultGroup = 0 NewUserGroup = 1 Group1.name = New Users Group2.name = Friends Group3.name = Family --------------------------------------- Received: (at 103331-done) by bugs.debian.org; 28 May 2004 09:02:24 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 28 02:02:24 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from credativ.com (curie.credativ.org) [217.160.209.18] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BTdFw-0004Pj-00; Fri, 28 May 2004 02:02:24 -0700 Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by curie.credativ.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BA1DC55B6F for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 28 May 2004 11:02:22 +0200 (CEST) Received: from www.credativ.de (pD9FFE6A2.dip0.t-ipconnect.de [217.255.230.162]) (using TLSv1 with cipher EDH-RSA-DES-CBC3-SHA (168/168 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by curie.credativ.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 660E255B6C for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 28 May 2004 11:02:22 +0200 (CEST) Received: from bell.credativ.de (bell.credativ.de [172.26.14.16]) by www.credativ.de (Postfix) with ESMTP id C21721C0149 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Fri, 28 May 2004 11:02:20 +0200 (CEST) From: Peter Eisentraut <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: licq handles plugins poorly (corrupts licq.conf) Date: Fri, 28 May 2004 11:02:18 +0200 User-Agent: KMail/1.6.2 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-Virus-Scanned: by AMaViS at credativ.com Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: AFAICT, the configuration file is now initialized correctly, even with multiple plugins being used.
