Subject: nedit: ctrl+keybindings are release-triggered with lesstif-nedit
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Mailer: bug 3.3.4
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Date: Wed, 02 Aug 2000 10:25:23 +0200

Package: nedit
Version: 1:5.1.1-1
Severity: normal

This is a rather important bug for a purist like me:

Many, if not all, ctrl-keybindings in the Debian version of nedit
triggers a command when you release the key, not when you press it.
This is rather annoying - Ctrl+S doesn't save right away, Ctrl+V doesn't
insert until you release. Sometimes it also seems that some Ctrl-
keystrokes are ignored completely.

To test this bug, just run "xset r rate 1000 10" and try it.

Note that this bug applies to lesstif nedit 5.0.1/2 in Debian as well.
I think this is related to lesstif, because it doesn't happen with my
5.0.2 static motif.
