Package: ooqstart-gnome
Version: 0.8.3-2
Severity: normal

I don't really know if it is bad practice to open several gnome sessions from
several
different displays at once, but normally that works quite well.

The only package that has a grave problem with that (at least as far as I
have seen sofar) is ooqstart-gnome:

To reproduce:

I login (per gdm) on host1:0 and everything is fine. Only the applet is
running,
I do not have any OO windows open.

Now I login from host2:0 (also per gdm) and an OO window appears on display
host1:0.
To make it worse, this window grabs focus all the time, making host1:0's display
almost useless until I close my second login.

Actually it's not ooqstart but OpenOffice.org/StarOffice themselves.
Even when you don't use ooqstart, starting OOo from one display while it's
already running on another will make it open a new window on the display
it was already running on.

Since ooqstart (on purpose, that's the idea of it in the first place) also
starts an OOo (SO) on the display it's running on, firing up another OOo
from another display - whether directly or through ooqstart - will make
its window appear on the first display. So this has to be fixed in OOo.

Regards,

Filip
