Subject: ssh2: visible password after pressing ctrl-c
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bcc:
X-Mailer: bug 3.2.1

Package: ssh2
Version: 2.0.13-2
Severity: normal

Pressing ctrl-c while executing ssh2 makes visible characters at password
prompt. It's very dangerous when you type and press ctrl-c, since if you
don't see the screen your password will shown while you type.

Hi!

Ssh2 was removed from the Debian archive this morning. It's
replacement, openssh (ssh package), does not seem to be affected
by this bug; therefore, I'm closing it.

Kind regards,
Bas Zoetekouw.
