Unfortunately, the epan source code was never released, so we have to
stick to binaries.  Other packages like distributed-net-pproxy or
jdk1.1 are in the same situation.

The upstream author used to be a Debian developer, so I'm sure he's
already aware of the virtues of free software and unlikely to change
his mind (and his mail bounces).
