Hello again, in the meantime I have the same problem on a i386 machine. Both my sparc and the PC have a quite inimal installation, which leads me to the guess that some libs that ssh2 needs are missing (all dependencies are fulfilled, though). Maybe I have these problems only because I am stupid... but on the other hand I have many other machines running where everything is just fine, and I really did not do anything different on those. Please let me know what I should do next to encircle the problem.
