After I upgraded to the last version of masqmail it suddely didn't use
procmail anymore. I was quite astonished because the "mda = " was
still uncommented (I just used my old config) and there was no new
option in the upstream-version of masqmail.conf. In the manpage of
masqmail.conf I found the "mbox_default" variable and now it's working
again.
I'd suggest that you add the line "mbox_default = mda" in the
following section of the default masqmail.conf:

#
#mbox_default = mda
#mda="/usr/bin/procmail -Y -d ${rcpt_local}"
# default is false for these:
#mda_fromline=true
#mda_fromhack=true
