Some of the keystrokes are intuitive, such as the arrow keys and return, but others are not at all -- for example, I would never have guessed that the button at the button of the screen map to the function keys, or that control-j can be used to issue a command. A simple pointer to a web site (or inclusion of its contents) would help. I encountered this problem when using ipmenu and it took me a while to realize that it was not ipmenu that assigned the keystrokes but cursel, and then I had to figure out that cursel implements FMLI, which actually is specific enough to define keystrokes for navigation, then I found a web site which explained what they were: http://uw7doc.sco.com/SDK_charm/IFMLI_FMLIApp.html So, I was in the end able to figure out how to use ipmenu but with quite a lot more trouble than should have been necessary. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux schcomp 2.4.7 #4 Sat Aug 4 05:40:14 EDT 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages cursel depends on: ii libc6 2.2.3-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.2.20010318-3 Shared libraries for terminal hand --------------------------------------- Received: (at 108000-close) by bugs.debian.org; 28 Jan 2002 20:11:57 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 28 14:11:57 2002 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16VI8D-0005L5-00; Mon, 28 Jan 2002 14:11:57 -0600 Received: from troup by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16VHue-0007lH-00; Mon, 28 Jan 2002 14:57:56 -0500 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Bao C.
