With the disk holding my repository being full, I get:
| $ prcs checkin -r upstream-2.11.17.@ tau
| prcs: Write failed while write locking lock file
`/home/dwitch/PRCS/.locks/tau.writers': No space left on device
| prcs: Failed obtaining a repository lock.
| prcs: Command failed.
This seems reasonable, but then if I remove cruft from the disk to
make room, I get:
| $ prcs checkin -r upstream-2.11.17.@ tau
| prcs: Could not obtain a lock because of the following locks:
| prcs: Inconsistant lock information, cannot continue.
| prcs: Command failed.
This looks much less reasonable. At least the message is confusing,
and nothing is said about how to solve the problem. Even "rebuild"
fails with the same error:
| $ prcs admin rebuild tau
| prcs: Could not obtain a lock because of the following locks:
| prcs: Inconsistant lock information, cannot continue.
| prcs: Command failed.
