Hi , I am new to the Debian community and want to contribute, I have presentable python skills.
I came across the python-playwright package, it's current version is 1.55.0 but a upstream version 1.56.0 is available. I downloaded the tarball and ran the debmake command which created a debian folder. I saw that if I take up this job I need to do lot of changes. My query is that where can I check or ensure that there is no one else working on the package an that after complete the working according to the Debian Standards the package will be accepted?
