This is primarily a packaging team, meaning we package python libraries or 
modules that already exist out there.

If you wish to code something, you can try developing a python package/library 
on your own with some idea you have, package it and upload to PyPi where other 
users can download and use it. Guide for it is here [1]

If you wish to contribute to Debian packaging but need a starting point, you 
can also head to PyPi website [2] and search for any packages that you would 
like to see in Debian and package them. Here's a simple debian packaging guide 
to get your boots on the ground if you're interested [3].

If you need any help or guidance, feel free reach out to us on this mailing 
list or on our IRC channel #debian-python on OFTC.
