Hi Shell Xu, I need GFU which does not seem to be supported by the python-snappy version currently in Debian:
>>> from snappy import GPF Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: cannot import name 'GPF' from 'snappy' (/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/snappy/__init__.py) Debian has version 0.5.3 while upstream has 0.6.1. I realised that the last two uploads where doen in NMUs. I'd suggest we move the packaging in Salsa[1] to Debian Python Team git, and move on with the update from there. If I do not hear from you I'll do the suggested move next week. In any case thanks for introducing this package into Debian. Kind regards Andreas.
