Hi, all.

Python core developers are discussing about release schedule now.
https://discuss.python.org/t/pep-602-annual-release-cycle-for-python/2296

Python 3.8 is now final beta and will be released in 2019-10.
I expect it will be included in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0596/

I think it would be nice if Debian 11 is released with Python 3.9 instead of
Python 3.8 which will be almost two years old. How do you think about it?

When Python 3.9 rc1 and 3.9 final should be scheduled if we want it is
the default Python of Debian 11?

Regards,
