The project `anosql` is a small and simple python library that loads some SQL queries and run them against a psycopg2 database connection with a simple and nice interface. The library is becoming more popular, 66 stars on github, and some references in books (like MasteringPostgreSQL from Dimitry Fontaine). I'm a user of this library since couple of months on my personal projects, unfortunately installing it through pip instead of debian package.
