Greetings All,

I am in the process of packaging lunatic-python:
 - (old upstream) http://labix.org/lunatic-python

The question that I have is with regard to naming the package.

My initial thought was to name the source package lunatic-python and
then the binary package python-lua. I was also planning to provide a
dummy binary package called lunatic-python that depends on python-lua.
However, I did a quick search found that there is already a source and
binary package called python-lua in the archive.

Lunatic Python creates two .so files (lua.so and lua-python.so) along
with a .egg-info file. The two .so files are identical (I haven't look
to see why upstream does this, but they are built from identical source
files).

In any event, after discovering the existing python-lua package I
thought of replacing my planned python-lua binary package with a package
called python-lunatic and having it conflict with python-lua.

Any thoughts on this?

Regards,

-Roberto
